Bourne Textile Services has now purchased a new vehicle washing system.  In line with our policy to lessen the impact our business has on the environment each vehicle wash only takes on average 8 to 9 minutes.  The washer uses 1000 litres of water, of which 90% is reclaimed.  This means that only 100 litres of water per lorry enters the drain.  The results are noticably better than our previous pressure washer system.

Keep your eyes open for new additions to our fleet of vehicles.  No 121 'Princess Nausicaa' and No 122 'Saint Hunna' arrived in June 2010.  A further vehicle will arrive in September.

January and February 2011 will see the arrival of two vehicles each month, followed by another in November 2011.   The 'Seen Our Vehicles?' page will be updated as new vehicles take to the road.

We are proud to announce that Bourne Textile Services made the shortlist of the highly prestigious Motor Transport Awards 2009 Livery of the Year Competition.

The shortlist is chosen by a panel of experts from the industry. 

Bourne Textile Services has recently been awarded the prestigious Environmental 14001 (BS EN ISO 14001:2004) accreditation for their policy to lessen the adverse effect their business may have on the environment.

The company was accredited for ISO 9001 (Quality) in 1995 and having completed the building of the new factory in Cherry Holt Road the company felt it was an appropriate time to tackle its environmental demands and set about achieving the important environmental accreditation.
